[Dynagroove] Directions for Soul Glo tonight!

 I had a blast at Soul Glo as well.  At first I was thinking it was a bit too
intimate of a location, but after everyone arrived, it felt like the small
space made for a damn good party.  it got packed and the sound was on point.
All of the djs were right on except for one little goof from one of them (I
won't call him out, but he knows who he is...I told him..haha)...I actually
think someone bumped the tables, so I can't complain.  I was impressed by
Sergio V...I have never heard him before and I thought he did a good job.  He
went back and forth with some stompy tracks and then went back to mellower
soulful stuff while they were waiting for the room to fill up.  I was glad I
got to hear him & Dennis.  It was fun dancing to Cee's set as usual, but the
set of the night belonged to Nic Alvarado who brought us to Church that
morning!  At that time I was working the bar and couldn't make my way to the
dancefloor, so I just swayed and bounced from behind the bar.  I think the
dancing helped get me some tips too (hehehe...maybe).

Anyhow, I think from start to finish it was done well.  They went out of their
way and got some intelligent lighting and a discoball.  I'm a sucker for a
good production (ie: lights, rops, etc), so I thought it was cool.

  I stopped at rub-n-tug at the loft prior but with 20 bucks at the door
totally
worth it. changed plans to Soul Glow for 5 bucks. Not that rub n tug is not
worth the 20 bucks but I had a very good time at Soul Glow.

  I went for Alvarado but only ended up staying for Big Cee. Who was stompin
and
rompin. Very good stuff. Great Vibe. Intimate and loud with close access to
the
booze ;) just the way I like it!
