OK guys Vinyltribe was scheduled to play for us out on the patio but once 
they heard that DJ Alex from Voices Collective out of london was playing 
they graciously postponed their night for March 3rd.  WHo is DJ alex you 
say?  And what makes him so great that the VT guys would make room for 
him???

  DJ Alex a.k.a Alex Pe Win is no stranger to radio and playing at some of 
London's more underground parties and clubs. He started buying music at 
the age of 11 and began dj'ing in 1989. Nearly fifteen years later he was 
asked to join "Attica Blues" Allstars and became one of their classic 
selectors at venues such as Plastic People and is currently resident DJ at 
the "Hoxton Pimps" all night warehouse events around Old St he also has 
set up with Cedic Woo and DJ Ramar the "VOICES" collective which have held 
residencies in and around East London. Musicially the show aptly entitled 
"VOICES" will focus on soulful underground dance music new and old 
interviews and mixes from respected DJ's worldwide and a fair amount of 
interesting music from other genres expect the unexpected.


OH and BTW it was DJ Harvey that called us up and said we had too book 
him.  Harvey said (and I quote) "His record collection puts mine to 
shame."  That comming from Harvey is saying something.
