while I do agree, this lineup is badass, I would also venture to say that
here in LA we have such a plethora of talent that it makes it hard for me to
get all that much more excited about seeing Dj Sneak, Derrick Carter, and
Heather, than I would be about a night of some of our local djs who really
know how to rock it.. the last few times I've seen DC it was kinda... blah..

now don't get me wrong, I've been playing Sneak and DC tracks since I first
started djing and Heather rocks the house, but personally I'd like to see
people like Alex D or some other totally under-rated local talent that we
never see getting any of the juice around here that they should be,
headlining a 1,500 person event.. yes I know big names pull the big numbers,
but we can always dream of a day when it's not about the name.. can't we? I
know I do..

Now, I usually only sit back and read the dynalist, because I never  really
have anything good to say, but today I have to speak up. Before  I get
started, let me say that I am not at all affiliated with the  promotion
company that is throwing this in any way, so my opinions are  my own. Please
do not hold them liable for my rants and raves. I am a  little confused that
there has not been more hype about this party. My  GOD. This is a house
music orgasm that I pray every night about before  I sleep. Are u F-in
kidding me. I never thought that I would be able to  get to an event this
spectacular without paying the snaps to go to Chi  town. I really think that
we need to support this more, if for no other  reason, simply because if an
event like this is successful, we may be  able to coax a promoter to
continue to bring in the next level diamond  life talent. I once read in
Lotus about a 3 X 6 with Roger Sanchez,  Junior Sanchez, and DJ Sneak. This
is the type of stuff that we, as a
 major music market should be getting. But if we do not turn out for the
events that promoters take a chance on, this will never be a reality.  Call
me a sellout, but I want to see the elite producers rock it like a
hurricane. So, for the good of the house community, please support this
event and events like it. I am willing to bet that it will ultimately
benefit us and our dancing shoes. This has been a public service
announcement brought to you by bad mutha fucka unlimited.
