80%- kinda looks like he couldn't be bothered... but i've seen him play
outside of LA (i.e. WMC in miami) and he is playing closer to 100% - i mean
i walked into a party in Miami where DC was playing and i literally felt the
vibe floating about the room- no joke!


i agree that he doesn't feel the town (LA) as much- but rightly so... i mean
look at where he's from - CHICAGO!? i mean think of the vibe there... the
attitude (or lack thereof) i think derrick feels the vibe LESS when he's in
LA- plus i'm sure that the way he is approached to play in LA (by promoters
like GIANT, SPUNDAE, PURESOUNDS) purely see him as a money making venture-
and derrick is no idiot - i'm sure he'll milk that for what it's worth. i
think the right party thrown by the right people (wink wink cade) would
produce the better vibe which in turn would bring out the boompty in DC that
we all know and love. Perhaps the Ultimate Dynagroove: Diz, Heather, and
Derrick Carter! This party would have to be at least 10 hours long though-
no one is gonna want to play less that 2-3 hours...
