To me, this is more than just another party or start of a record label.
I think it marks the beginning of a great future to come for the So Cal
house movement. For a long time, we've been in the shadows of other
great US house "meccas" like Chicago and SF. They've made their mark
and influenced us as well as the rest of the world.

Everyone that lives here (or has played or partied here) knows that
our scene is strong. We're ripe with talent and have multiple parties
on every day of the week. What we've been lacking is a vehicle to take
things to the next level and leave OUR mark. It's time for our
generation of So Cal house to step up. I love to see that the Bodyrock boys
are accepting the challenge. They put a lot of passion into everything
they do, and I'm sure this will be no less than a great example of what
we can all accomplish in the future. Congrats guys!

Hello everyone! Thank you Wobs, I second this!

I have just moved to Minneapolis 6 months ago. Only a short time has passed. Let me just say... I have had the chance to learn what LA has and has had over the years! WOW...
To me, "There is a HUGE house scene in LA!" It's a mecca breeding ground!

I grew up and lived here in Minneapolis until 12 years ago. After living in a city like Los Angeles for these last 12 years, I really can see what another city has compared to LA. I have seen or lived in the house "meccas" Chicago or SF. And now I see what any smaller city REALLY is or has to strive for to make the movement survive.

After experiencing some of what the committed people here are doing I am completely amazed! There is a small handful of people here that are accepting big challenges and having their passions take over in order to keep producing and djing. They are also bringing the same talent here to Minneapolis as I was able to dance to out in So Cal. Whoa... It is so wonderful to see that!

I just want to say to ALL of you there in So Cal... Please know that LA has such a large amount of talent and people that really do LOVE LA and love this house scene!! What a scene there is in LA!!!! LA is and should be looked at as a MECCA, because it is! To me that is. I have really seen this and felt it by moving away.

To ALL those like the Bodyrock Dj's, Wobs, Cade, Sue, Marcus, Wyatt, Farron, Cory Wells, Wally Callerio, the OC people ( they are really pulling up their end of the movement in these past 2 years. WOW!) and the list could go on and on... PLEASE KEEP UP WHAT YOU ALL ARE DOING!!!! Keep taking and reaching to the next level! You all WILL leave your marks! A lot of you already have and you guys don't even know it!!!! CONGRATULATION'S to you all and LA loves you!

I love you all from all these miles away!! Keep smiling and creating!

  Much Love, hugs,
  Alayna
