Hey everyone,

June 24th is a big night. lots of stuff to do around LA. which is awesome.
here is something MAUF (Music And Underground Friends) is serving up.

For our second installment of Piso Mojado we're pleased to bring back
Olivier Desmet. he's a swell guy and one hell of a dj. his programming is
insane. one infectious track after another. you can't help but dance when
he's on. trust. if you've seen em you know what i'm talking about . if you
haven't had the opportunity to peep him out, i want to encourage you all to
come see him play. it's the fun shit, the groovy shit.

Dizzy from doubledown recordings will also be joining us. i had an
opportunity to see him not too long ago in San Diego. It was at a day party.
pool side. The shitty thing was- the promoter kept making him turn the music
down, due to noise complaints from neighbors. it must have happened 5 to 6
times, his set was interrupted. i watched him and he stayed cool and
collected. and complied. i was a bit upset cos he was dropping some really
great tracks, i wanted to enjoy them more. his selection and his humbleness,
as well as how cool he kept under pressure is what made us want to book him.
plus as many of you know doubledown releases are bomb. needless to say, the
kid knows his stuff.

Then of course there's cade. an LA favorite. he and luis have both made Free
Thinkin' on friday nights a house music staple in this city of ours. booking
the likes of jt donaldson, diz, heather, and Dj Mes, just to name a few. not
to mention those dynagroove parties of cade's. hot damn. i've seen him do
back flips on the dance floor. cade has energy like no other. the music he
plays will have you movin. it's jacky, and often times bubbly. good times
with him. always. can i get an amen?

Bobby Burns and JoeShua will be gracing the decks as well. not only are
these guys two of my closest friends, but they bring the pain. makin it
funky.

The venue for this event is amazing. it's by far the sickest venue i've ever
been to, and i'm about to help throw a party there. i can't go on enough
about it. it's big. it's super clean. totally revamped loft space. there are
plenty of bathrooms, and the parking situation is perfect. there's a chill
area where folks can hang back and check out Raz and Rod's artwork. our boy
PuzzlePiece will be throwing some graphics up on the wall all night as well,
for your viewing pleasure. and the beautiful bar girls will be serving
jell-o shots and affordable drinks all night long.

i'm really excited about this night. can you tell? come see why i'm so
stoked. let's do this.
