I heard a recent set on limewire - Sasha + Digweed- live at club Fabric
in London..

I would recommend this to lovers of all styles of house/ electronica..
they pretty much run the gamut in this 2 hour mix.
incredible stuff! (note: for best effect, administer on long mysterious
trips to and from all night desert parties)

Over the years, these two DJs have really pushed the boundaries and
challenged the conventional school of thought on what is considered
house music or even 'dance' music for that matter. Their sets strip
down at times to these improbable alien rhythmic soundscapes that are
true works of sonic art. Thery really know how to move through a range
of moods/ emotions in a single set, to give the listener a memorable/
thought provoking experience.

Kudos to the industry for letting these two express their sublime and
abstract style with much success (I cant think of many other DJs who
would have the balls to play some of this stuff (alien soundscapes) and
be taken seriously..
2 of the best in the business as far as I'm concerned.

Ohhh boy....it was absolutely insane last night!!! I love the Mayan
and
always look forward to those midweek parties - which hasn't happened in
a long time. I think the last time were 2 back-to-back weeks in 2005 in
Feb/March with Dave Seaman and Digweed. I didn't expect it to reach
capacity. Around 2 they were turning people away at the door. Not bad
considering it was a Thursday night and the place has a 1,500 capacity.

Digweed started slow...and then he dropped it HARD...then "threw the
net" - a little too long, I agree. But then BAM! And it was just
madness until 4. I just HAD to stay until the end - and there were
still a considerable number of people that did too. My body hurts but I
have a huge grin on my face. Since I knew what was in store for me -
yeah, I was one of those people that didn't have to work today...I
asked for the day off in advance.

I wish more parties gets thrown at the Mayan: great sound, decently
priced and stiff drinks, cheap parking, and overall, the place just
exudes good energy.

Digweed at the Mayan: MONSTER sound. The car alarms were going off
in the lot. I thought it was an illusion with red and blue lights
blinking close together that made it seem like things were kind of
trembling - but they really were. I don't know if it was the
eyeballs in my head (along with my ribcage) or everything in the
massive room, but the whole place vibrated. Which made the music a
complete other dimension. I have those musicians earplugs - so,
piece of cake. It was a music chariot in front of you and all you
had to do was jump on and dance. Everyone did.

The crowd (must have been capacity), made me proud of LA. Totally
diverse and jammin'. It made up, in a very very very small way, for
me missing my favorite party, the Heading Home party, 'cause I was
out of town. It was good flirting, grooving, happy, joyous fun.
Rocked.

Only thing, just me, you dj's know how after you've been peaking out,
rocking the room and you throw out the net, let it drift a little,
then reel it back in, flop 'em on the deck and make 'em wiggle again?
(too far, I know) - well, around 2 he did that, but let the net drift
a little too long, and, well, it didn't really recover, back to the
place we came from. Maybe because it was Thursday, and when things
slowed a bit, people turned to each other and said, "Um, wada ya
think?" Still, I left just before 4 and it was still rocking. Those
people did NOT have to work. They were doing just the opposite. All
in all - really great night. (The Mayan is my favorite.)
