You, yes, you have been invited to one of the most famed style of events in DJ culture… the desert party (not to be confused with the dessert party, which while quite tasty, will not be hosted by us at this time).
July 1st marks the date of The Brotherly Love Production:
    Indepen-dance day
This will be an outdoor desert camping event, and best of all, it’s FREE. Featuring some of the best talent in Orange County with a splash of LA and LBC, this promises to be one of the best ways to spend an evening between here and Vegas (Bodyrock’s party in the park is the best way to spend that day :-P).
    The line-up includes:
    Bodyrock (bodyrockdjs.com, LA)

 Joplin (Dialogue, Essential, Moonshadows, LA)

Wobs and Nonfiction (Focus, Elevate, OC)

JP and Rhines (Innerflight, DJ Culture, OC)

Adam Scenx (ll:ll, LoyaLL, adamscenx.com, OC)
N8 and Jason Splat (Addicted, Funk Potion, Sound Wave Records, LA)

  Cirel (Sachi, LBC)
    Freeman (Monkey Do!, Cadence 2006)
    Edy B (ll:ll, OC)

Pete Spinning and Derek Andrew (Monkey Do!, consciousphunk.com, Brotherly Love)

DJ Nubbz and Riki Yamada (Brotherly Love, Monkey Do!, futuremix.tv, OC)

Seeing as this is the fourth of July weekend, typically it is spent launching fireworks in the sky. WE REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT ABSOLUTELY NO FIREWORKS LEGAL OR OTHERWISE WILL BE ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT. There will be dry grasses at the location among other regrettable ramifications for allowing them. Sorry.
You should also note that the desert has a tendency to go from extremes in heat during the day to equal extremes in the evening, and while the location is well shielded from the typical desert winds, it should still be advised to prepare for that as well.
Other than that, camping is allowed, and encouraged. Free water will be available, as well as a gorgeous view of desert landscape and stars (which are only rumored to dot the skies if you live in a major metropolitan area).
Please be respectful and aware of your environment! And please, spread the word!
You can call the info line the day of at: 714-360-9677
Or get the info early by getting on the elist @: elist at consciousphunk.com

Hope to see you there!!!!
    Derek Andrew
