(i) Tobias - "Street Knowledge" (Logistic 55)
(seriously good 4-tracker from tobias freund (aka pink elln, aka 1/2 of sieg
uber die sonne on multicolor, aka 1/2 of NSI on cadenza).  no gimmicks, no
fuss - just simple quality house music (with a hint of techno) for the late
night.  probably my favourite EP of the year thus far.)

(ii)G-Man - "The Way You Move" (Wir 02)
(mentioned last week (by edan, i think) but i have to second the
recommendation.  gez varley's output in the last couple of years has not
quite been what it was in his force inc pomp, imo, but this is major return
to form.  sure, it doesn't do very much and it's hardly a new formula, but
there still aren't many better at producing deep and ethereal wigged-out
techno that surely works as well at 10pm, when the club is filling up, and
at 10am, when the party is ending.  magic.)
