hey big thanks to everybody that came through this past saturday and  
helped make it our best event ever!

some of the highlights:

I asked Heather and Diz a few weeks ago if they would do a tag team  
set(they said they would get back to me) and surprised all of us by  
going back and forth all night!!  Fresh.  They kept the intensity  
high and really do compliment each other as djs (ala bread and  
butter). We had other options for our lineup, but I'm glad  
availability led us to book these two together--it worked out  
perfect....

Without a doubt one of the stand out sets of the evening was my man  
Doc Link....he laid down a heavy percussive vibe that filled the  
second room.  To my surprise, I found out afterwards that almost half  
of the tracks he dropped were his own!!  Apparently Mr. Link has been  
really busy in the studio the past year working with Eman out in New  
York(you guys will be hearing a lot from Doc in the near future!)

I was really happy with sound and decorations--we do our best to  
transform Detroit Bar into a different environment, and I feel we  
really accomplished that. Thanks to Wobs, Missy, and Buddy Rob for  
helping out with setup.  AND thanks to all of you who made it out :)
