Whenever I post something on this list I always feel
the need to share that I very rarely post.  Usually
it's to agree with something someone else said, or to
share my excitement about an upcoming event.
With that said...I'd like to offer up a review of Big
Bang 2.
I won't bore you with how delightful the decor is at
Space Island... as I'm sure all of you have heard/read
about that dozens of times before.  I will tell you
that by midnight the place was pretty packed...most of
the people found their way outside and, by the end of
Tony Watson's set, they were ready to groove.  Zack
Hill came on afterward...he started off with a song
that I'd never heard before but it was definitely one
for the ladies. :) About 25 or so minutes into his
set...he gets moved into the inside room. ZH handled
this like a champ and picked up EXACTLY where he left
off outside and brought the heat inside.  Not
surprising, he brought the crowd with him.
Now, I don't want this to turn into a post about how
great I think my man is.  I'd simply like to say that
people will follow good music... whether it's outside
or inside.
I heard quite possibly one of the top 5 sets I've ever
heard Zack play...the man was getting high fives and
free drinks throughout his entire set.
Aztech Sol was up afterward... he kept the heat going
and moved right on from Fred Everything's remix of
"You Found A Way" by Tortured Soul into another song
for the ladies.  I didn't get to hear his entire set,
but the first half I did hear was very good.

It was a good night.
