We are really excited to bring Miles Maeda back to the club this
Tuesday. Miles has one of the best sounds out right now and there is no
way you will be disappointed by his DJing skills and track selection. He
truly knows how to work the focus dance floor. Really a night to come
check out and of course the email list friends get in for five bucks
before 10:30 with the printout
 
Miles Maeda is Originally from Hawaii but has been one of the Pioneering
members or the Chicago House scene. He is a current resident at Smart
bar in Chicago along side other residents such as: Heather, Colette &
Justin Long. With his partners DJ Colette and Josh Werner (Antenna), he
co-founded the 'Material' night at Shelter, a weekly event supporting
and featuring new house music from '94-'96. It provided a home for
artists like Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Sneak, Diz, Cajmere, Moodyman,
Herbert and many others.
 
Miles Maeda TRULY has a unique sound so if you've never heard him play
before but think "I know I've heard the name" you MUST come see him
Tuesday. Try and get there a little earlier than normal to avoid any
lines. Last time we had Miles play it was a great night and we also
celebrated his birthday so it was an extra special night. We want to
make sure this night is just as special so we're making it only $15
after 10:30 so everyone can afford it even if you can't get there before
10:30 for the $5 list
 
We have 2 focus residents opening up for the night too Wobs &
Nonfiction. These guys have more fans than a lot of the DJs we book as
special guests. So with the two of them together to add their unique
style to the mix should definitely warm up the dance floor the right way
for Miles Maeda. We hope to see all of you there for this amazing Night.
 
P.S. I want to thank all of you for making this party so amazing. Last
week with Doc Martin was flat out amazing (pics are up on pubditrict.com
if you want to check them out). We are striving constantly to make this
the best house club in Southern California and the fact you guys love
what we do makes it all worth while. This party has never and will never
be about money, it's all about having a good time and listening to some
amazing talent in an intimate setting. Once again, thank you.
