yes, I TOTALLY agree with you on this...I know I sound like an old fart, 
but after growing up without a cell phone, (and not even a pager 
really), I am not into being gotten a hold of at any given 
moment....that said, I HATE getting bothered on my phone by them as I 
have NEVER signed up for any text list's for shows and it drives me 
nuts. I have also NEVER gotten a text about a show I didn't already know 
about.

There is a guy in LA who has a website and is a promoter and I literally 
had to get physical, (and I am not talking Olivia Newton John style 
either), with him in order to get my number removed from his list. He 
was sending like 4-5 texts a week, and usually for the same show.

I hate them...
I also hate people who don't use Vibrate for their ringer...
I hate people who have loud ringers with some lame-ass song 
('milkshake', etc)...
...and my #1 gripe about this shit, people who drive their cars while on 
their phone, without a headset...if you do this, you are a f_ckin' moron.

but I love my blackberry.....go figure :-)~
