I've said it before and I'll say it again: If you need a fix, go to Justin 
Long. But, I guess I should start at the beginning... I missed Cade's set :( 
- could have used the foreplay, as I arrived to DanX bang-banging it out. I 
smoked and drank and somehow hit stride between a blaring speaker and bright 
TV (I couldn't have hated them that much, I attached myself early on and all 
night long *wink*) And then what? Jamanta? Do you wanta? Yes.Yes.Yes. I 
often trust the bookings and party line ups of the permanent list promoters, 
but when Mr. Barajas said "I think you'll like them" - he was wrong! I f---n 
loved it. All things dirty went down on that dancefloor and seeing them join 
the groovers after their set, pumped up the energy even more! But, it was 
time to bring it back to... bright lights and silence??? Cops, again at 
Dyna? Throw your own fucking party LAPD and leave us in the dark with the 
beat, I promise to be good girl next time ;-) Imagine the greatest sex of 
your life, interrupted by your grandmother... awkward! Just as the 
discussions of bunkness began Cade worked his magic and the beat went 
on-and-on*and*on-and-on. It def made the party better that it almost went 
down in flames for a minute there, but then again, this is the most dramatic 
week of my life, so what else could happen- surely plenty, we'll get to that 
soon.

Okay, so the fact of the matter is, a lot of people still don't get it. But 
like I said, I trust the old skool heads and when Cade adopted JL as his 
resident, there was something to be said for a new movement, a new sound, 
and a fresh attitude on the dancefloor. From the hype of JackInTheBoat to 
Jack Frost to Dyna to Focus, I've watched the beat nuts absorb and adapt to 
the heavy paced beats that sound so Chicago, yet so new they sound old? I am 
all for doing that thing we do and this boy does it better than most. He was 
Easily Influenced by the Hawtness about and for anyone who knows I really 
werk-werked it out. I noticed that there was a solid front of heads grooving 
out in the glow of the boob tubes, but the background crowd seemed a little 
stuck in the mud. Don't worry friends, they'll learn.

The rest of the night took a bad turn and I'm so emotionally spent I 
couldn't even deal. But for the record: Do whatcha like, funk how you like, 
but be respectful to the party gods!!!
