I'm gonna have to agree with jose on that one- Saturday night's DYNAGROOVE
was the ill shit. It's Tuesday and I am still sore from all the dancing. Big
ups to cade for throwing yet another successful party. Hell yeah.
The energy was thick up in there. I think folks had been anticipating this
night for a while. Hell, I know I was, especially since I was one of the few
who didn't make it to miami. I was super eager about the line - up and was
not disappointed at all.

First, Cade did the damn thing by getting the crowd funked up. Early in the
night, the dance floor was reminiscent of a junior high school dance, people
were groovin' but afraid to get out there and move it. Either that or we
were all in a (dare I say) trance from the 9 video monitors posing as a DJ
booth. I'll admit, I was one of those folks, hypnotized for minute. Those
visuals were smokin tho. Nice touch.

Then BOOM BOOM BOOM. I'll repeat what I said Saturday night- Dan X came out
SWINGIN'! All of his tracks were fire. Shit was bangin'. I recognized a few
cuts , but most I had never heard before. In my opinion he was the essence
of straight chicago jack. Great mixing, amazing programming. New and fresh.
This kid needs to come back. Soon! Cos he's fierce with it.

Then came the fellas from Jamanta Crew. Wow. I've seen them three times out
here, I wouldn't miss them, but i never know what those guys are doing
behind their computers and keyboards and stuff, but whatever it is- it's
funky as hell. It's a privilege to not only hear them but to see them in
action. They were rockin the crowd and loving every minute of it. Smiles all
around. They had me in hysterics- uh huh, hootin and hollerin and head
bobbin. One word- fun.

Those guys are a lot of fun then ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR the music came to a
screeching halt as several rather large police officers came storming in,
armed with mag lights and angry faces. Yuck. Talk about buzz kill 2000 . The
lights came on, people moaned and began to scramble. I saw cade talking to
the police , I was thinking all hope was lost and it was now time to figure
out how to get home- who could drive? Not me...all of the sudden cade comes
running in says, "Turn it back on." and like that, the lights went off the
music came up and so did people's spirits. More hooting and hollering
ensued. YESSSSSSSSSSS

Sadly, I think the sound might have gone down a little after the police
showed up, either that or I was damn near deaf from shakin my booty up front
by the monitors, but I gotta admit, once justin long came on I was kinda
having a hard time hearing. I stayed for a few songs, but my legs were so
tired I was losing rhythm and having a hard time dancing. Anyone else have
that problem? I'm old.

Killer fucking party tho. I know his ego doesn't need any more stroking ;),
but Saturday night it was evident that cade has this shit dialed in. from
the location, to the sound, to the talent, to dealing with the cops and
other shit that went on that night, all good form. Way to handle it.

I felt truly blessed that night to be a part of such a cool community. The
LA house community. RISE UP.

That is all.
