Spring is in full swing at Focus and things are really starting to heat 
up on Tuesday nights. Check out our brand spankin new Message Board. 
Post a thought or opinion and lets test this sucker out. We've got a 
couple big weeks ahead and it all kicks off with the very talented 
Olivier Desmet.

Olivier Desmet's Focus debut is long overdue, but we're very excited to 
have him come down to play for us. As a long time veteran of the house 
scene, this guys really knows what it takes to rock a crowd. The fact we 
aren't charging before 10:30 (with email printout of RSVP) is insane for 
an artist like Olivier Desmet.

He's produced and remixed over 30 records and his tracks have been 
favorites with dj's such as Mark Farina, DJ Heather, Derrick Carter, and 
Fred Everything (not too mention the Focus residents). His productions 
have appeared on countless mix CDs, including DJ Heather's “Fabric 21” 
and Mark Farina's recent “Live @ OM” CD. A Sixteen year veteran behind 
the decks, Olivier Desmet has played venues and events across the U.S 
and all over the world. Currently, Olivier Desmet lives and works in San 
Francisco where he runs his label Amenti Music. He's also the co-owner 
and full time buyer for primalrecords.com, one of the most well 
respected record stores in the world.

Joining him behind the decks that night will be a couple of names you 
all know very well, our very own Wobs and Derek Dunbar. Our birthday boy 
Derek Dunbar (hint- he likes martinis) will be setting the tone for the 
night until Wobs takes over to shift things into a higher gear. With 
Olivier coming on to close things out, its gonna be a fun night. It's 
totally free before 10:30 with the email print out, so be sure to come 
out early!

Derrick Carter Pre-sale ticket info: As this is going to be a huge night 
for us, we highly recommend Presale Tickets for the Derrick Carter show 
if you plan on coming. They will save you a place inside the club and 
you get in before everybody else. The ticket price won't be any higher 
the night of but there is no doubt we will sell out (possibly even 
before Tuesday).
