Bradford James Biography:

Co-founder of  Seed Recordings with partners HBO Def Poet Ove Salcedo aka 
Oveous Maximus &  Manuel Rivera aka Deknology. DJ since 1987, was brought up thru 
the golden age  of Hip Hop. Came from a musical family; mother a singer, 
grandfather a drummer,  he played musical instruments thru high school... As a 
performer has Dj'ed  parties/clubs all over New England, Boston, Montreal, 
Toronto, New York City,  Philidelphia, WMC 2006-07 Miami, ADE 2001 Amsterdam, 
Phoenix AZ, DEMF 2003  Detroit. He has played alongside industry moguls Master Kev 
(Defected/NYC), Lars  Behrenroth (XM Radio LA), Andy Ward (Defected UK), Glen 
Underground (Chicago),  Mike "Agent X" Clark (Detroit), Rudy C (LA), Jesse 
Outlaw (LA),  Hali
(Toronto), Uzi (Montreal), Ray Bones (Detroit), Joe Dipadova (Phoenix,  AZ), 
Lola & E-MAN (NYC), Dj Bruno (Boston), Louis Benedetti (NJ), Joey Mazza  (NJ),

Bradford James playes a spectrum  of sounds associated with the deep house 
tag: melodic tech house,  Afro-Latin-influenced tracks, vocal anthems and some 
jazzy soulful  stuff.

Aswell as a performer he also hosts a  monthly event in Boston with DJ Cruzz 
called Seed in the city. This event has  recently embarked upon its One Year 
Anniversary and has grown to become one of  Boston's Best Monthly Events.

He started Producing music in 1998, first  release in 2001 under the 
Groovekontrol name. He is 1/3 the Seed Allstarz  Production Team. The latest release 
entitled "The Sniper" featuring Quentin  Harris on Underground Garage Hits is 
currently NO. 44 on the Traxsource.com Top  100 Releases Chart. He has also 
worked with Jesse Outlaw, Tyrone Francis,  Trinidadiandeep and Boddhi Satva. He 
has releases and remixes on labels:  Grooveland Music, Seed Recordings, Utopia 
Boston Recordings and Trippin Records  UK, Shack Music UK, Underground Garage 
Hits, and Dazed  Recordings.

Bradford James has also played on FM Radio and Internet  Radio, his first 
internet radio show was on Flaresound.com on the "Housemusique"  channel in 2002 
called "Samoset Sessionz". He can still be heard on his current  syndicated
