  Nice work, party organizers. You've managed to cram one million crucial events into a ten hour window spanning New Year's Eve night to New Year's Day morning. What's a self-respecting rave addict to do? Well, we have our work cut out for us, that's for sure. The newest contender to the throne is coming at us from Sublevel Music, and the date is the one and only, Monday, December 31st. The event is called Sublevel Space Explorer NYE, and it is actually the party's six year anniversary, so R-E-S-P-E-C-T please. It's going down at a classic TBA Los Angeles location, and if you buy your ticket now you're guaranteed a copy of the compilation CD they're putting together especially for the event. Lots of folks will be setting their watch by this one. Jump on the bandwagon.

Might as well dig a little deeper, as long as we're paying our respects and trying to spread the gospel. For starters, doors to this lunar park open at nine PM, and they won't sweep you out into the streets until nine AM, so just grab breakfast and crawl home. Only 21 up is allowed in though, so keep the junior squad at home. Also worth noting: attendees are advised to bring “your passion not fashion.” So be incredibly excited, but don't worry about what you're wearing: unless it is nothing at all.

Check out the King Tuts who'll be performing special sets of special music: Doc Martin and Sublevel live featuring Lillia, Jeno, Garth, Sunshine Jones and Dubtribe live appearance, and Zack Hill. A horde of local delighters. Everyone who's danced to a DJ in LA county in the past decade has felt echoes of Doc Martin's influence, as the man is a casual and omnipresent rave La La Land legend, and has been for ages. The rest of the posse is no less stellar, and will ably inspire one's lower regions to get footloose and fancy-free. The race is on.
