 HOLIDAY SAFETY – "TIPSY TOW"



The holiday season is upon us, and with it brings celebrations that
may involve alcohol.  Although you've heard it before, it bears
repeating – don't drink and drive. A little planning (designating a
driver) and self-control can go a long way in keeping you out of a
truly devastating, if not deadly situation.

 Here's one more reason why drunk driving is inexcusable. The American
Automobile Association (AAA) and Budweiser have joined together to
develop a program called "Tipsy Tow", which provides private party
goers and licensed establishments a way to get folks who have
overindulged – and their vehicle - a ride home. Adults in need of a
ride can call 1-800-AAA-HELP, and AAA will dispatch a tow truck and
take both the driver and their vehicle home safely. The service is
free of charge and is available throughout the United States to both
AAA members and non-members. The program runs through the holiday
season.

 "Tipsy Tow" removes the number one excuse for drunk driving – the
intoxicated motorist, not wanting to leave his/her car.  Keep this
phone number handy, and share it with others to help keep drunk
drivers off our roads.
