i was just there about a month ago, and the most convenient and helpful advice i got was to check out a place called...
Dance Tracks
www.dancetracks.com
91 E 3rd St
New York, NY 10003
(212) 260-8729
everyone that works there is really cool.
btw, louie vega has a wednesday residency at a club on the westside. great venue (a bit small), with a banging system.
other than that, the hostels are a lot of fun. with alcohol sold till 4, the europeans, japanese and i were drinking up a storm every night till 7 am. but be careful with the argentineans because they will talk shit about you in spanish, without considering the possibility that the person they are talking about might also know spanish. next thing you know, you got argentinean blood on your fists and youre being manually removed from the hostel by security.
have fun bro.

for about a week. I'll be in between Central Park South and Grand Central
Terminal.
Anyone know of any events going down that weekend? Any recommendations for
clubs, people, general stuff to do would be much appreciated.
