About Mulatto:

Mulatto is a band of 6 young musicians from Long Beach, California who are
creating a serious explosion of new music. The signature sound of Mulatto is
an upbeat and melodically driven fusion of Neo-Soul, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, and
Rock, that has developed into a sound that the world of music has never
heard before.

They have the cool, confident swagger of any of today’s Hip Hop artists,
but
can still tear the place down like Parliament-Funkadelic. Their ability to
switch from the complex harmonies in Jazz to the stirring sounds of Green Day
has made them a hit amongst all age groups. Mulatto has definitely made their
mark in the music world. The energy from their live performance is fueled by
the love of music and culture that transcends into an uplifting experience
for the mind, body, and soul. The rave about this band’s revolutionary
style
and performances have contributed to sold-out crowds at BB Kings, Club
Twenty/
Twenty, Temple Bar and Roxy Theater in Southern California.

They have been recording at the historic Westlake Studios in Hollywood,
California, home of the world’s top artists and producers, including Red
Hot
Chili Peppers, Mariah Carey, and Prince to name a few. With a roster of
excellent
songs, unique assemblage of musical chord progressions, and polished stage
presence, Mulatto’s astounding performances are incomparable. Their
boundless
potential leaves their audience and listeners craving for more and wondering
"Where will this band be one year from now?”
