Rockstar presents Yuri's Night 2008

On April 12, 1961 human spaceflight became a reality with the launch of a
bell-shaped capsule called “Vostok 1.” The capsule was carrying Soviet
Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, who took his place in history as the first human
to leave the bounds of Earth and enter outer space.

Exactly 20 years later, the United States of America launched it's first
Space Shuttle mission.

Seven years ago on April 12, 2001 a group of young and inspired engineer
students held the first Yuri's Night Space Party, benefiting the Space
Generation Foundation (www.SpaceGeneration.org.) This foundation serves to
inspire, educate and train young individuals in leadership and space
exploration education.

Four years ago on April 12, 2004, Porter Tinsley tripped over Jason
Bentley's DJ bag behind the DJ booth at LAX's Encounter Restaurant after
finishing her set and made the needle skip on DJ Mars' record, thus
interrupting his set. The incident further became known as "The Mars
Incident."

This April 12 at CineSpace in Hollywood, join us in celebrating space
exploration and celebration as we mark the 47th year of celebrating
humankind taking a moon walk in outer-freakin'-space! The World Space
party is held in over 50 cities around the world on April 12 each year.
Please join us in helping San Francisco represent the West Coast to the

Russia.)
