[Dynagroove] dynagroove Digest, Vol 59, Issue 27

[Music Lover]

I remember when I first moved back to Orange County from Chicago.  It was
2002 & I was at Higher Source, (I miss that record shop), I was browsing the
flyers & in comes Ami to drop off her Our House flyers.  I asked her, "where
can I go for some House music?"  She told me about her weekly & I was more
than willing to check it out.

After going to Our House that night, I knew I had found a genuine OC weekly,
with a warm vibe & great people.  It was just the perfect transition for me
- coming from the Chicago House sound.  I had really soaked up the Strictly
Jazz Unit vibe of Glenn Underground, Boo Williams & we can't forget Paul
Johnson (the man in the wheelchair with the dopest tracks).  I remember when
the Teamsters were laying it down proper.  Halo, Justin Long, Trevor Lamont,
& the rest of the Midwest Crew.

My respect goes out to Ami & her crew for always having a welcoming night of
House.

I can't wait to check it out.
