'DJ Plus1'..who died and left you in charge of the 'LA House aesthetic'?
sounds like snobbery to me.
I've been going out since 1991 too (and to a lot of house music events), and I've never heard of you, bro!
At least Collette like the flyer, so I heard. You can't please everyone!

Thank you very much for your words and I understand
where you are coming from completely. We really are
trying to bring together 2 communities and know its
going to take some time to show what we are about. The
event from that point of view was a great success as
both scenes intermingled wonderfully and the music was
incredible , the burner scene absolutley loved Cade &
Colette while the house heads were diggin on
Rootabreaka in the morning. But I think we came on too
strong and with well too high a budget (which is why
we had to charge what we did) we didnt come close to
breaking even and will look to make some changes in
the future.
Our next event at Space Island is Circular Logic on
3/1 with a large burner lineup and a 2nd room hosted
by Psytribe.com
And we have a very special event planned April 12th
with a 4 hour set by MARK FARINA, we have decided to
choose a new venue other than Space island to
accomodate all your wishes.
Thanks again from the Teknowledge family!
