Ok I know I am lagging. But I wanted to give my thanks for those of you who
treked out in the rain for a real treat this last saturday. Honestly I
think this was one of the musically best dynagrooves in a while. It was
nice to her house all night long and not go off an a techno tangent.
Although I like techno I prefer Dynagroove to be a house induced event. If
you want that tech sound I suggest you c heck out Dotbleep on march 22nd lol
(Shameless plug)

I woke up saturday morning and looked out the window the first thing out of
my mouth was "oh shit" it was pouring. I was a bit worried about the rain
and all the other events going on. So i just got to work getting
organized. I was pretty excited to run at the soto spot again. I know
people were not feeling it much but after the last visit there and all the
changes they made I knew it was going to sound great in there.

Nonfiction like the true gent that he is showed up early and helped me push
the porta poties inside. Way to go lol. Then he proceeded to play for the
next 3 hours. I must say Nonfiction put it down.. and put it down proper.
He started out as an opener should.. mellow and mood setting. And as the
night wore on he brought it up and even dropped "Buffalo Girl" which is my
favorite track right now. There is a part where jdub sings "Kinda Rude,
Kinda Rude" and I had about 5 people convinced he was actually singing
"Dynagroove, Dynagroove" lol Nonfiction's set was great and we have about
90% of it recorded. As soon as he gives the OK I will put the set up on the
site.

Diz was next after NF. What a freakin amazing set!! I have been listening
nonstop to it since sunday and I am just like GATDAMN this shit is good.
Out of the 3 hours I have to pick my favorite 70 minutes to put out a live
set CD to give out at the 9 Year anniversary of dynagroove coming up in
April!!! I am having a hellofa time trying to pick just one 70 minute
blip!! Diz rocked it and I did not hear a single person think/say
otherwise. The sound was really good... And diz was just on point.. Did
anyone here that song about chicago and the guy walking around drunk and
high? Or the "I need some loot" track? dope dope dope.. And of course
mixed only as diz knows how.. Guy is hands down one of the best out there..
I justwish I could hand this whole set out at the next dynagroove.. who
knows. Maybe I can figure something out!!

I played after diz. I just had some fun. Played some new tracks and then
of course dropped into my favorite disco genre of house.. I don't think I
will ever outgrow it lol...

In the end I was very pleased with the turnout considering the factors. The
venue was great. the crowd was great.. the sound was great. And we are
approaching our 9th year. I hope you all return for the april 5th event.
Especially all you ladies who dance up front and smile at us insecure DJs
*wink* lol

Thank you alll.. This was a good one..
