greetings partygoers!

we're glad to be in 2008 with a new installment of everyone's favorite
getdown...GRAVITY!

2007 was a fruitful year for us here at distant beat. we had an awesome
GRAVITY in february, a kickass beach party in june, and a beautiful baby boy
in august. in other words, we've got lots to celebrate. so lets party!

for this party we've joined forces with Alive Network Demonstration
(A.N.D./&), a fellow crew here in los angeles to further enhance the GRAVITY
experience.

we are esteemed to welcome back mr wickedfly JOHNNY FIASCO from chicago
(om/defected/viva/tonic) to perform his usual annhilation to the dance floor.

not for nothin, but this man really brings it to GRAVITY like no place else in
los angeles...its a sight to...well, hear. so dont miss it.

adding to the magic and mayhem are our local favorites:

ERIC DAVENPORT (geisha house music) - the man is legendary and has been
working hard on new tracks for the last year...no doubt we'll be hearing the
goods at GRAVITY.

DJ SOUL (F.A.M.I.L.Y.) - in a special closing set, soul will finesse us to the
end of the night with his refined and well tuned sounds.

ALEX D (distant beat, allhouse music) - gaining direct influence from today's
greatest house music dj's, alex d is a real talent. a somewhat hidden
treasure, he's destined for greatness...dont miss one of l.a.'s next heroes.
