[Dynagroove] House of OM at EDC Review + Events this coming weekend***

Hello Dynagroovers,



to everyone that went to EDC, I hope you guys had fun. EDC this year was
packed, like always. After walking around in the masses of people I finally
found myself in the House area hosted by OM. I didn¢t quite catch Collette¢s
set but I did make it on time for Mark Farina. Farina didn't quite throw
down thick
chunky beats like I expected. He spun a lot of mixes with hip-hop which I
wasn't quite enthusiastic about. A couple of the mixes were off tempo as
well,
telling from his facial expression, he knew it too. Then came on DJ
Heather....oh wow...it is oversssss....DJ Heather definitely threw it down.
>From deep up-tempo basslines to melodic vocals. She covered all areas. One of
the highlights was when DJ Heather Mixed Kanye West - flashing lights into
her
mix. The crowd went crazy.  Don¢t worry Mark, I still have much respect
for you, but EDC was definitely DJ Heather's night in respect to House. It
was
nice to see the OM crew behind her while she spun, Farina, Caldwell,
Collette,
Fred Everything, etc. Finally Andy Caldwell came on to finish the night. I
would say his set was mediocre. The weird thing was, in the middle of his set
he started to play some really slow tracks, almost like some down tempo.
"Warrior" was definitely one of the nice tracks Andy Caldwell spun.
All in all, EDC was fun. Thanks to OM and Insomniac for a great night!





On another note...Don¢t forget this coming Saturday...
