If you went to the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (or WHATEVER they 
called it this year) and DIDN'T go to the party described below (from
earplug.com), you are RETARDED.



"Soul Skate was a Saturday night event hosted by Kenny Dixon, Jr. (aka
Moodymann) at Northland roller rink on 8 Mile Road, some 20 minutes
outside of Detroit's downtown. Locals and visitors alike skated, ate soul
food, and watched Detroit's house intelligentsia stroll through, before a
2am skate contest pitted crews from near and far against each other for a
cash prize."
