Hey Amy,

Thanks for the endorsement, I think, lol!

To address a few of your concens:

1). Size -  we are only selling 450 tickets. After that we are SOLD OUT.  We don't want to have 1000 people in a space that only holds 450. Additionally, we are selling rooms (almost sold out of those by the way) which means that people will be flowing from their rooms to the pool. And vice versa.  

2). PRICE. Bringing in talent like Andy Caldwell, Julius Papp, Franky Boissy,  and others means that we need to PAY them. As I'm sure u know they don't play for free, and we have to fly them down and put them up. Additionally, we are having to bring in lighting, extra security, staff etc. That combined with street teams and printing costs makes for an expensive party. You know the capacity is small so we are limited on how many people we can fit in there.  

3). Sunday vs Wet. Well, if you have been to a wet party than you will know there is a huge difference between the weekly pool parties that are going on right now vs. a WET party. Its a special event, with a high production value and an after party INSiDE the hotel that goed till 2am. Essentially, your 25 bucks gets you 13 hours of dancing. 

4). We having been looking for the right space for 2 years. After the Roosevelt got all celeb crazy and felt they didn't need us, we have been trying our best to make it happen. We want people from ALL scenes to come to WET because that's what makes it so special!  Dynagroovers, south beach heads, hollywood scenesters, etc all coming together to have FUN!

While I am ECSTATIC about WET returning to LA, and I am a huge fan of the
Custom SUnday Pool Parties, I seriously can't imagine how a party as BIG
as WET is going to fit around a pool as TINY as the one at the Custom.

I'll probably still go, although $25 is a little steep to go to the same
pool i can go to every sunday for free...

If you haven't been to a sunday pool party at the custom, check it out one
sunday. It's free, the music is AMAZING, the crowd is wonderfully mellow,
and best of all, it's NOT the Standard.
