OK sorry I only got a minute to write this. Just wanted to thank the SG
crew for having me out. I was a little wary of the venue since it was a
house up the hills with neighbors very close by. But things turned out
great. The house had a great view looking across to highland park and if
you looked left (south west) you could get a great view of downtown. Missy
B showed up with the snacks and candy early so I started munching. So it
was time for me to play.
I played from about 10:20 - 12:30. I started real mellow early because most
people were just n the balcony smoking. So I kept it mellow and waited for
the roo to fill. At around 11:45 - 12 it started to fill up so I started to
bring it up. The highlight of the night for me was dropping some of my
own tracks and hearing people who did not know it was my track hoot and
holler... So I had a good time. it was hot hot hot in there but that is ok
I am not ne to complain about heat. I would rather have a hot dance floor
then a cold one.
Lou came on next and took it over. Playing some oldies and some newies. My
feet and back were hurting since I am an old man so I clumbed up to the
outside stone patio and sat down for an hour. But still got to hear the
tracks Lou was dropping. He sparked a couple conversation "Oh remember this
track?"
Nonfiction and Wobs came on next. And I bopped to them dropping it like it
was haught lol. I had to rotate inside and out to cool off.
But N&W turned it out and brought a lot of energy. I was pooped by then
and I wanted to make sure some people got home safely so I offered to give
them a ride. We headed out having our house music needs met.
Thanks guys
Cade
