Hello Friends!
Come on out and join us at our new Tuesday night weekly at a super  
dope lounge in Downtown LA, Blue Velvet. Tuesdays will feature deep,  
sexy house and a smidge of downtempo/mushroom jazz early in the  
evening. We'll be hosting some of the world's top and most buzzworthy  
DJs in deep house music. We debut this Tuesday, June 3rd with Slater  
Hogan of Muzique Boutique. Slater, along with his label partner John  
Larner, has been making major noise in the global house scene for  
several years now with releases for choice labels like Aroma, Mobile  
Trax, Lowdown, and Nightshift. His tracks have been supported by DJs  
like Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Inland Knights, and BBC Radio One  
legend Pete Tong. Slater regularly bumps clubs across Europe, South  
America, Australia, and New Zealand with his sonic goodies. We're  
also proud to welcome DJ Mikey Velazquez who, along with his HAWT  
cohorts, is a provocateur of the underground LA house scene. And our  
own DJ Tigre will get the booties wiggling.

About the promoters:
Stoke Productions is a marketing and multimedia production company  
helmed by Jonathan Keith and Rick Thompson, two pioneers of the  
Midwest electronic music scene. Keith is a former radio and  
television personality from Indianapolis. He was the host of  "Planet  
X," a syndicated alternative dance music show for Clear Channel  
Radio, and interviewed Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers, Peaches,  
Gorillaz, Underworld, and a long list of innovative artists and DJs.  
Thompson, who hails from Detroit, worked at the U.S. Capitol Building  
and was an Advance Staffer for the presidential campaigns of Bill  
Clinton, Al Gore, Dick Gephardt, and numerous other politicos. He is  
a former Press Secretary for Indiana's Secretary of State Office.  
Together, Keith and Thompson have produced club events and festivals  
with a who's-who of electronic music: Moby, Aphex Twin, Orbital,  
Richie Hawtin, Sasha & Digweed, Josh Wink, Christopher Lawrence, DJ  
Dan, Bad Boy Bill, and scores of others.
