Whats up Dyna-folks,

I know this is last minute, but I'm doing a one-off with Circus and inviting
all the Dynagroove heads to come!   I know you're probably askin' yourself,
"why circus?"  My point is this...If you remember 8 or 9 years ago, there
were dj's like Little Louie Vega, Gene Farris, and DC playing there on a
weekly basis, now its all trance.  Their idea of house music now is some guy
playing at 150bpm!  That aint house mufucka!  They need to be checked on
what house music really sounds (music), looks (us!) and feels like(our
unity).  Me and a couple friends of mine went there last Saturday to check
it out, not even 30 minutes of being there, my boy Geoff kept naggin me,
"when are we leavin!"  I felt the same way, cos I couldn't stand it!  There
is absolutely no vibe at all.... Just bang bang bang bang (think 150 bpm)
and no one really dancin' n groovin'.  Just peeps jumpin up n down and doing
that one dance, wtf is it called? the nordic track?  We shook the spot
eventually, and where did we end up?  Dynagroove and tasty Otter Pops!
Classic!  I had a great time, like I always have at all of them.  btw Cade
did you take Diz to that "club" he kept askin about? hehe.

But anyways back to my point... For the folks that dont know about circus,
when they first started this club, it started as a disco, playing disco and
did for a long time (I think it opened back in the 70's).  I would love to
have that back, that disco vibe, but with our house music twist to it, for
just one night like we do at all of the underground parties.  With that
being said, I would like to see all of the heads come FULL FORCE and show
'em what REAL HOUSE MUSIC sounds, feels and looks like, and we can come out
from of the LA underground scene and still do it big club style too.  Circus
gave us (SAGA) an opportunity to have a room with Hip Hop and House, two
genre's of music we all can relate to, so we took it.  I want to see what it
looks like with the other rooms coming in and seeing how we do our hip hop /
house thing.  I will try my best to keep the room as intimate as I can,
without all the crazy lights.  So come out and support my one night, cos I
can never do what Dynagroove, HAWT, Focus and the other crews can do, its so
much work!  I commend all of you for making my weekends!!

The night will be starting off with Dj Orion from Legend Ent. and Icy Ice
from the Beat Junkies bringin that Hip-Hop downtempo vibe, then House with
jack-meisters Santiago & Bushido coming out of  Chicago.  Chris (Santiago)
and Tim (Bushido) have been dying to play out here for so long, and when the
opportunity came around, I had to get them out here.   It will be their
first time playing out in LA, so please give them a warm welcome!  Then to
end the night it will be none other than Easily Influenced from the HAWT
crew bangin' it out.  If you don't know, come thru and witness them murder
hundreds of pairs of shoes in one night! j/k

It will be free entry til 10pm (guestlist), after 10pm its $10 (guestlist -
all night), and $20 for the peeps that forgot get on the list.  For
guestlist email me first name/last name only (no pluses) at*

Saturday October 11 @ 8pm.  I will be at the door until about 11:30 if you
guys n gals have any problems.

PS...Well I hope I entertained you with my blipplity blop blabber. It took
me two nights to write this up, just so I come correct.  I'm trying to
promote this night as best as I can....and get you to see S&B for the first
time. If you haven't heard a live set yet from them, you will be amazed.
These guys can really wreck shop!
