[Dynagroove] Any FiveDollahFunk reviews???

Thanks Scott! It's good to hear that our mission was accomplished given all
of the obstacles we ran into for this one! One of my biggest pet peeves with
parties/djs is walking into a party early and getting banged away before
having a chance to warm up. We wanted to really pace the night and work up
toward a collective energy that everyone's a part of!!

Thanks for leading the birthday serenade! Despite a hectic night it was
awesome to have a toast with everyone in attendance to celebrate my
birthday!

Two things I wish we didn't have to deal with were:

- We had quite a few people wandering around outside with drinks, which I
don't understand at all! This is the quickest and easiest way to get a party
shut down that I can think of and each person I stopped and asked to go back
inside with their drink looked at me like I was being unreasonable! Also
lots of people making trips back and forth to the liquor store then back
into the party which really hurt the bar as well (at a $5 party!).

- There was a fight in the back parking lot which resulted in one of our
friends windshields getting completely shattered (while he was inside the
party unaware of what was going on!). If anyone has any information please
reply privately. We're not looking for anything more than getting this
windshield replaced.

Other than that despite a last minute venue change that was a little smaller
than we had hoped for I thought this party went really well! We were packed
through the night, ran til 4am, and had a dope crowd!

We'll be back in February (at a MUCH BIGGER VENUE!) to throw a huge bash for
our 8 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!

 great night. great venue, great sound.? and the music was on point. love
the fact that these guys really know the art of setting up a night. they had
a crowd early but didn't just come out banging. they kept the music mellow,
and the volume low. they let people talk and drink. they built up the
anticipation, slowing increasing the energy all night until it became an
insane sweatbox. inspiring.

All I know is that Kat Von D and entourage showed up, my cookies were eaten,

and...that's about it.  I was hit with a very annoying flu and got to the
venue 
and left about an hour later.
