[Dynagroove] Circa 97

My younger brother ran towards the bus when it was being rocked to join 
in a caught a rubber bullet in the stomach.  The bruise was bigger than 
my fist.  The best part was what happened next which is when everyone 
started heading towards the parking structure on the other side of the 
freeway and you can see a stand off between a couple thousand ravers on 
one side of the street and the cops with guns out on the other.  People 
where counting down and dancing while they have guns pointed at them.  
FREAKING SURREAL TO DIS DAY!  It was the best of times and the worst of 
times cause I knew then that the scene I grew up with where promoters 
were united and the vibe was all that mattered was over.  Raving died 
that night for me.  It was never the same after that night.  It was LAs 
1968 Democratic convention.  The movement when on but it had lost its 
credentials.
