[Dynagroove] In responce to all the responces ;)

First off let me start by saying that my initial response was intended to be
"next" to Amy's post. I was merely saying...Yeah, why don't the people ever
talk about great events like SD on here? Then, I made a suggestion (maybe they
don't promote on this list because they feel it is unnecessary to achieve what
they get out of producing SD) and yes, it was meant to be partially
condescending but not directly towards Amy but more towards "some" not "all"
of the people who regularly post/read/scan this Dynagroove list. The reason I
made this suggestion is because,  I too have stopped posting all of my
events/mixes/opinions on dynagroove list. Simply because it has become not
worth the time. It seems that most people on here don't attempt to really
enjoy much outside of this particular community. And though I'm sure there is
a few who do, the majority does not. Otherwise, I would have scene them
enjoying/embracing some of the other great events that have been bubbling and
brewing for the last few years.


Now let me explain the reason why I was partially condescending (since it
seems that a lot of people don't understand this type of Carlin
Sarcasm/Humor.) I was partially condescending because I thought that some
people might get a laugh (I was wrong). 2) because I knew it would stir up
some major "music" discussion (which it did). So please understand, that my
comment had a multi purpose meaning. I'll admit that some of my wording was
indeed too snobby and I apologize for that. But you have to admit, it's helped
allot of people think/talk/discuss real topics with music/community. This is
what you might call, gumption or moxy, which I think allot of people lack
these days.

So in closing, I say this. There is 1440 weekends from the time your 30-60
years old, and it doesn't seem like it's enough.
