My feet hurt, I am tired, I think I have about 12 new gray hairs, and
my
back is sore. So what can I say. All the tell tail signs of another
good
party. lol
Thanks for coming out and supporting guys. It means a lot to me. I
had a
lot of my "Biggest supporters" pretty much blow dynagroove off for
heather. Which makes me butthurt. But when the next one comes around
and
I start getting the Guest list emails I will have some ammo.. lol But
I was
none the less pleasantly surprised with the amount of you whom did
come show
the love. The venue got packed and people seemed really energetic!
That
was a lot of fun.
Lets all give Nonfiction a big round of applause for holding it down
for 2
and a half hours. He took it the right direction. Starting mellow and
building it up. Nonfiction is all class man. Lets give him some
feedback
on his set ok?
I decided to jump on for what was suppsoed to be 40 minutes but ended
up
being a little over an hour because the sound guy was missing and w3e
could
not cut over to the live show untill he was found. This made my set a
bit
stressfull and I was annoyed. But I tried to make the best out of it.
So
what do you do when your upset and want to get in a better mood?
Disco
house. And Funky remixes *wink*
Honey claws was next. I would really like to get some feedback on
what you
guys thought? We were unfortunate that only half the band was able to
make
it. The two guys in New Zeiland had a freak "sting ray" accident. I
am
serious. One of them got sung by a sting ray and it got infected and
he got
blood poisoning. However Traey and Jon were able to come and with the
help
of Ableton live and a modified 303 do the show. I personally thought
it
was cool and a nice change of pace. I thought it was funky and jon on
vocals was really impressive. He has a great stage presence. I walked
around durring the show to try and get a feel. It seemed that about
80% of
the people really liked it and was into it. and about 30% were a bit
confused or just flat out did not like it. "White guys should not
rap."
was my favorite lol. Good or bad give me some feedback on this.
Should I
continue trying to find talent like this for future dynagrooves?
Diz. (nuff said)
I love this venue. The fact that there is a gated patio is great. I
also
loved it when the dance floor got crowded we could open the back door
and
cool things down. A big thanks to the bodyrockdjs for helping me with
the
venue..
SO I am trying to figure out when to schedule the next dyangroove but
it is
looking dificult since Diz is playing on haloween and then I will be
gone
for most of nov/dec. So we may not get to it till january.
Thanks to all the support who came out and danced with us.
See you guys at the "Freaks Come Out!"
Cade
