Ok this isn't 100% but Focus has a brand new EAW Avalon series sound
system being installed right now. It may be ready by Tuesday...so you may
be in for a real treat (no promises though).

This Tuesday we have the Sacred Grounds crew (Dj Lou & G-Dubbs) coming in
with their newest resident Mark 'Blakkat' Bell. These guys do some of the
best underground house parties in So Cal with artists like: Mark Farina,
Derrick Carter, Sneak, Diz & Dj Heather just to name a few. It's setup to
be an amazing night so don't miss out

Mark 'Blakkat' Bells Bio:

An original member of multi-platinum selling Mercury Prize winners M
People, Mark Bell was signed as a solo artist to Atlantic Records,
Hollwood Records, Warners, BMG and Sony. He has been a featured vocalist
for King Britt’s Sylk 130 Project, Funk D’ Void and the hottest young
German Uber Deep House producer Manuel Tur. His production work has been
remixed by David Morales, Basement Jazz, Todd Terry, Steve Bug and Armand
Van Helden. Mark has written and produced records with Felix Da Housecat,
Josh Wink, DJ Sneak and Marshall Jefferson and remixed tracks for Zero 7,
Jamiroqui, Wyclef Jean, A Tribe Called Quest, and The Jungle Brothers. He
has also
worked on several Hollywood blockbuster soundtracks including Mission
Impossible 3.

Mark has released dozens of House and Techno records for countless
different labels under many different aliases and is currently busy
working on a new LP under his Blakkat moniker for his own label Shaboom
Records. Upcoming releases for 2009 include the East River Rituals LP,
that he produced with DJ Onionz, featuring Afro Cuban legend Candido
Camero and House music A-listers Robert Ownes and Taka Boom. The massive
Tweek & Roll single with Josh Wink and new remixes for Chez Damier and
Dirty Vegas, along with several new artists are currently in development.
As if all
this hasn’t kept him busy enough over the past few years, Mr. Bell has
found the time to DJ and perform live shows all over the USA and Europe +
is a regular guest alongside longtime studio partner Doc Martin at the
legendary Sublevel party in LA.
