I agree. We've been podcasting for over two years now and our radio  
show is played in radio stations in the UK and Australia (plus  
countless bars and lounges around the world who play our mixes because  
they are subscribe to the podcast).  it has been a great promotional  
tool.  Now we are actually doing our mixes on the ACC format instead  
of MP3.  It's also called Enhanced Podcast.  Higher quality than MP3  
and the beauty is that we can index our 2 hour mixes.  You can skip  
from the track to track just like on a CD player. You also see the  
track that is playing at that time in the mix.  We put together a  
little video tutorial on how that works with our mixes on iTunes:

I really hope more DJs start doing this. As a note for those who will  
be doing this please include a track list with labels so people can  
look for the tracks if they are going to buy them.  On the site we  
have direct links for people to buy the individual tracks and we imbed  
the track list in the ACC and MP3 file under the lyrics tag.  It  
actually looks really cool on your iPhone/iPod Touch when you are  
playing the mix.
