 WOW!
What a thoughtful and art-full message.
Worth saving and reflecting on from time to time.

You guys are a walking history lesson of LA's underground scene.
Thank you -personally- for many late night epiphanies through sound...
And also for my first CDJ (bought a CDJ 100 off Marcus many moons ago, which I still use from time to time)

LA is - and SF will be-? truly a better place because of you.

Jason Splat

p.s.

See you this Saturday at War of the Roses!
I cant remember the last time we all (Cade included) spun at the same event.
Kudos for Mike Voss 007 for daring to unite the underground by reaching across sonic culture barriers..
I hope we can all share a groove.

Subject: [Dynagroove] and we hope to rep...

alright party people. here it is. some of you may have heard already.
with sadness and hopefulness we will be starting a new chapter in the
bodyrockdjs world. we are moving to san francisco this spring. we have
spent most of this last decade getting freaky with you guys at all hours
of the night. and we have absolutely fallen in love with you cats.
from sunset to the sunset. we have proven that above all the glitz and
clamour, good people will find a way to enjoy one of the worlds oldest
sacred rituals. dancing. we have been blessed to participate with you
in this, on all sides of the turntables. we all have our extremely busy
lives and we can only come together with our extended families every so
often. so we are very appreciative of the sacrifices you make to keep
the underground vibing and solid. we are certain we'll still be playing
here every now and then. and we hope to continue hosting parties by
proxy. day parties and the new surrender afterhours will hopefully
continue this way. we also wish ALL the crews, promoters, djs, and
staff the best of times. there are so many different styles and genres
out there but we hope you guys will still investigate them all. the
dancers still have one of the best cities in the world to get down in
and we know you will. THE L.A. WAREHOUSE PARTY is unique, awesome,
beautiful, and strange and envied by the globe! ?

there will be no better taco truck?

the sunset on melrose is actually rather amazing if you take a look.?

the L.A. hustle lives strong?

earthquakes.... you get used to em.... sorta?

there is money to be had and money to be lost?

there is also fame to be had and fame to be lost?

hearts to be had and hearts to be lost?

there is always tomorrow in L.A.?

and it'll be nice and sunny.?

and yes there are plenty of people from L.A. in L.A.?

L.A. is in fact huge?

what this city of angels has taught is too much to list. But what we
have learned over the years, is in our hearts. and we hope to rep Los
Angeles with our hearts on our sleeves.?
?

to all the crime fighters, rythm riders, and freeway writers?

to all the dancers, prancers, and romance sirs?

to all the geeks, freaks, and kids wit new sneaks?

to all the ladies, shady's, and the crazies?

to all the junkies, hunkies, and the bunk e's?

to all the noobs, troops, and real enough boobs?

to all the entertainers, painters, and nearly sainters?

to all the jocks, blocks and sandles with socks?

to all the ravers, skaters, and haters?

to all the lovers, brothers, and sisters....?

keep it surreal?
?

now all of this is sort of an extended good bye. we will be leaving near
may. and we will playing a few shows between now and then including
this weekend at War of the Roses. (see below) But we will also be
doing one last show of our own produced by us on April 11th. Surrender
Afterhours with 7 hour set by us again*. We hope you can take some time
off for this last show. anyone on the elist will be guaranteed $10
entrance. we may charge $15 to mid night stragglers but we're not
sure. hopefully you'll find the time to come. unlike usual i gave you
fair warning for this one. ?

So saturday we are playing a little early. kind of to be expected with
line up so massive. btw take a look at this lineup if you like hip hop,
dubstep, breaks, house, tech-house, and performers of all sorts. ?
