[Dynagroove] Weekend Thanks!!

I hope you all had as good a 4th of July weekend as I did! We started off
Saturday morning at the WET party. Once we rounded up the posse (thanks
for getting up so early and getting moving!) we checked into our suite,
had a quick drink and headed down to the pool to get things going. Before
I knew it the pool area had filled up and people were getting down.
Eduardo was kind enough to let me go a bit longer than scheduled and then
I handed it over to him. He played a great set (as did the rest of the
DJs) and before I knew it, it was time to grab some grub then get ready
for the afterparty. Sam and the whole WET team have this party down to a
science! We had the afterparty up and running in no time, and kicked it
off big! I played a couple hours and other than a poke in the eye by an
overzealous dancer, it was nothing but love in there! I had such a great
time playing for the packed crowd. Adam Auburn jumped on afterward and
kept things going waay into the night. Thanks again to everyone who came
out and to Sam and the entire crew for the hospitality. That was the best
4th of July I've had in years!

Sunday morning we got up TOO early and checked out of the hotel, then
headed home to shower and get ready for the first ever Solid Gold day
party. Cade had let me know the waterslide had arrived and we needed to
setup the venue early. I dragged my ass over there and got to work.
Setting up a full scale party outdoors in the sun is tough work! Someone
please invent lighter speakers!

We managed to get setup and running just in time as the first guests
arrived. Amy Rickets walked in, and headed straight for the slide (Check
out the pics, they're awesome!) and dove headfirst down to a round of
applause! The day flew by but I was so worn out I was fighting to keep up
my energy. Luckily around 5pm or so the crowd really picked up and we were
pretty packed. I ate some of Joesh's wonder BBQ (SO GOOD) and was movin
again.

Cade and I both got to play some really fun tracks and all in all I'd say
it was a successful event! I think the next one should be on a Saturday
though, or not after a big party holiday.

Thanks to everyone who came out all weekend long and partied! It was a lot
of fun!
