Solid Gold is SUPPOSED to be cheesy!!!  Come on!!  You know I LIVE for the
one night of the year that I can hear ALL my favorite cheesey songs at
once!! And I KNOW I'm not the only one. :)

In FACT... I would say that in terms of track selection, this year was
actually the MOST "serious" Solid Gold ever.  I finally convinced someone
who doesn't usually go to house events (but knows some classics) to come
to Solid Gold... when he got there, both C and Z were playing some really
techy stuff... he said to me, "is this the party where they play all the
classics?" I laughed and said, "yes, but you got here during techno hour."
 :)  I of course love the techier stuff, but honestly,if I had my way, SG
would be a vocals-ONLY night!!!   :)

i LOVE that venue.  It's one of my favorite warehouse-type spaces in the
city.

I LOVED all the gold!!!  It really added to the ambiance!  I was so bummed
I didn't wear gold.  I will buy something gold before next year's party
for sure.

Sound?  4 corners works perfectly every time.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???  HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!  We MUST set up the pool again,
but with a longer hose. :)
