[Dynagroove] Re-Fried GOLD

After reading Amy's, Kelly's, Cades and Zacks solid gold review, I quickly became aware that I F$@kin suck at writing reviews.... I gave it thaught and every friend I tell the story to loves what they hear so let the solid golden shower saga begin....

First, I pull up and park accross the street, I put my costume on and for about a thaught or two I was not mental prepared to cross a cross walk on sunset blvd wearing my outfit.... I stayed in character with my pimp walk and cars began honking to a rythum, 
So I did my hyphy dance in the cross walk holding up my gold chains. As I keep walking people stop to take pictures and I pose.

When I got to the entrance to pay I take off my sun glasses and with a sexy/korney tone say, " some body once told me, that if I wear gold, I can get in for 10 dollars. I got some laughs  then walked in and saw slick dada just maccin like always, he looked at me confused for a sec like he was wonderin if he knew me, but then starting rolling in laughter.  A guy grabs my shower brush to brush his teath and i say, "you know i scrub my balls with that?" Then I got to the dance floor..... Whoops, I over dressed for this occasion! thank God I'm a complete weirdo and I don't care about those things (I'm an attention whore) but luckfully I saw Cade in his sexy Gold outfit, wheww, ok now I feel better, and amy I saw your costume but I didn't know it was you cause I only seen pictures of you, never met in person, but amy you were looking hot! it's funny everyone is saying the temperature was a good hot , cause that is exactly what I said at the party.  girls were
 molestying me! ;-) grabbing my horney shower head all solid and spraying themselves, pulling me by the chains on my neck to dance. A hot hot hot girl even said I was her favorite person that night. I walked to my car to get something and some mexican gangsters in a  van yelled, "what's up Homie!" I thaught I was about to get robbed for a bunch of fake gold, but they then looked at me confused, "what are you?" I told them and they laughed, "R. Kelly! Make it rain on um!"   

The venue was perfect, smoking blunts with some cool people in the back area. When the night was finished I saw Cade and he told me he had seen the girl I was dancing with practicaly naked at one of his party's, I told him, "Cade, you've seen me practicaly naked at one of your party's" Cade thinks for a sec, "your right I have seen you almost naked" (Halloween 2008 I was a disco baby) I love cades sense of humor, no shame.  One of the funnest nights of my life, thanks cade and zack.

P.S. Women love a man to act a fool.

EVERYONE was commenting on how great that venue is.  I found out later
it's called "Freak City" which I thought was appropriate for us. ;)

I was one of the first people on the dance floor and one of the last ones
off it.  I haven't danced that hard in a while, and wow did I need it! It
did get hot, but like Zack said, it was a "good hot".

I was really digging all the gold, but the grand prize most definitely
goes Mr. R. Kelly and his golden shower outfit.  I laughed my ass off
every time I looked at him. Fantastic!

I agree with Zack that this party definitely needs to be twice a year. 
Although he prefers the Sat night Solid Gold, I really enjoyed last
summer's Sunday afternoon outdoor party! I'm officially leaving the state
on Sun Aug 8 (which is strangely 13 years to the day that I arrived here),
so I'd love to see it happen before then! :)

Thank you to Cade and Zack for playing so many of the tracks I requested! 
It was especially touching to get my Solid Gold special, Fonda Rae's
"Living in Ecstasy" as the last track of the night, from start to finish.
It's my all time favorite house record and I only get to hear it over a
loud system once a year at solid gold.

Now seriously Cade, how early do I have to get there to hear the "Amy
tracks"??  I got there at 10:30!!!!  What did I miss?

I wish every party was as fun as this one, and I dare say that it's
perfectly fine to play any of these tracks on any given night of the year,
not just on Solid Gold night! People will cheer for and dance to a good
song, no matter what!

I am one tired little golden boy......  holy poop that was a party!!
This
years solid gold fired off really well.   I was really excited because we
had found a cool new venue and I had the dopest and sexiest outfit of all
times. lol

The night started out chill and we warmed it up with some deep house
ranging
from murk to sweet child of mine remixes.  yes there is a deep  house
sweet
child of mine remix lol...  People came in slowly and liked to mingle out
by
the bar area.  But had some ladies chilling in the main dancefloor area
lip-syncing to the words.  Amy got there somewhat early but still missed
some of her favorites.

I was really happy with the amount of gold wearing participants this year.
We had some great outfits!!!  Did anyone see the golden shower? lol is
was
pimpastic!!
I had a blast and zack had a blast.....  a lot of people came up to us
afterwords and said this was one of the best ones yet.   So that felt
great.
Most people really seemed to like the venue.  Lucas did a great job with
the sound so we must say danke to him as well....

Some highlights of the night..

People going apeshit for

- we had a thing going on
- it's yours
- Around the world
- intro
- I played this pound boys on chez.. I do not remember the name of the
track
but I call it "new frontiers"  people were going gaga for that.
- All I do
- all 4 MJ remixes..  2 by me and 2 by zack
- amy yelling for fonda rae

So a few disappointments though

- zoki did not wear her gold shorts
- I did not get to play a disco set
- three different people felt the need to manipulate the mixer while both
of
us were playing....  talk about rude

Lots of hot girls...  lots of yumi cookies..

I hated to have to end it at 4 but the venue was riding us hard.  in fact
they tried to end it at 3 and I was like.. "Oh hells no!!"

So anyone else have some highlights of the night?

did anyone get the pleasure of seeing how those pants did not hide my
junk?
