 what i'm about to write is not coming directly from the promoters, but i'm
really excited about this event and couldn't wait to start spreading the word.
so (with the permission of the promoters), let me let the cat out of the bag.

august 14th FRESCO presents:

LEGENDS

for years now, fresco has been throwing a famous event in Texas called
Legends.
now they're bringing their famous Legends event back to their hometown of LA.

for this next event, they're really living up to the name. they're bringing
out a guy that just about every major house and techno dj would consider a
legend, and an inspiration.

ALEXANDER ROBOTNICK

i think this may be his first full U.S. tour, and i'm not sure but this may
even be his very first time playing in LA.


for almost three decades, his records have been staples in the crates of
everyone from the late Larry Levan and Ron Hardy, to cats like Theo Parrish,
Moodymann, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Tim Sweeney, Danny Tenaglia, DJ
Harvey, Louie Vega, Francois K., Derrick May, Carl Craig, and just about every
other legend in house and techno that you can think of.

this will be a straight up underground event, and i'm pretty sure he'll not
only be dj'ing, but also doing a live performance of some his classic
productions as well.

more details will be coming of course, but set the date aside.? : )
