[Dynagroove] goodbye Gabah

 Gabah, was once the Anti-Club (a legendary LA punk club), eventually became
home to Chocolate Bar, The Root Down, and our little club MORE. like Joni
Mitchell sang, "they paved paradise and put up a parking lot".....that's
exactly what's gonna to happen Gabah...so at the last minute, Tony Watson and
I (along with our partner Loslito from The Rootdown, and the bands Breakestra,
and The Rebirth) decided to get together for one last time to do a MORE
reunion.

we're gonna dig out all the classics that were broken at MORE, as well drop
some joints that represent what MORE would've been about had it still been
going on.

MORE was a very special time for all of us. i think part of the mystique came
from the fact that instead of waiting for the energy to die down, Tony,
Loslito, and myself decided to end MORE while it was still at it's peak.
because of this, the three of us have nothing but amazing memories of the
music we got to share, and the friends we got to make.

i know this party was thrown together at the last minute, but we really only
found out about Gabah's fate a short time ago. normally we'd take some more
time to plan such a special reunion, but having our first reunion anywhere
other than Gabah just wouldn't be the same. so if you know of any old MORE
heads, or anyone you think would appreciate this night, please spread the
word.

we're so looking forward to seeing all of your friendly faces out on the floor
dancing to those MORE classics one last time.
