The rain came, but didn't keep the people away from an awesome HAWT show on
Friday. Thanks to all of the Junction Family that came out and supported.
Again, you are the ones that make this night so special. Also, special
thanks to J1 and Mikecheck... you guys held down the City Room properly.

This week, Junction is proud to present house music legend, King Britt! As
one of the most accomplished house music dj/producers in the industry, this
Philly native's career started in 1990 on the now legendary house label
Strictly Rhythm as E- Culture, but his undertakings don't stop there.
Whether being Silkworm in the groundbreaking, Grammy winning Digable
Planets, starting Ovum Recordings with Josh Wink, producing platinum remixes
for Macy Gray, Solange, Donna Lewis and hundreds of others, winning the
highest grant in the country as the first dj/producer, The Pew Fellowship or
starting his empire, FiveSixMedia, King Britt still tries to live in the
NOW. And the now is here in Long Beach with Junction in the Big Room.

Joining Britt in the Big Room is Junction resident, Derek Dunbar. Keep your
ears peeled; it's likely Derek will be dropping a few of his own production
gems (soon to be released on DJ Heather's BlackCherry Recordings) on the
dance floor. If you've been paying attention, Derek's tracks have been
getting tons of air time through some of the biggest name djs in the
business. Come personally hear his productions over the big system here at
Junction first! 

Additionally, Junction welcomes local favorite, Paul Silva, for his Junction
debut opening set. Paul's good taste in quality house is the only way to
start your night out.

In the City Room, we have two of LA's finest (real) latin funk and downtempo
deejays, Ben Diggin and Fresko. If you haven't heard them yet, check out
their rare grooves and underground sound... you won't be disappointed.
