Much love and respect to King Britt for making it an unforgettable night at
Junction. Also a special thanks to Dj's Paul Silva, Ben Diggin and Fresko for
doing what they do best. It's very likely we'll be seeing them again very soon
on the decks here at Junction.
This Friday promises to keep the train runnin in the Big Room with Long
Beach's very own DJ Greyboy and Delmos Wade as they present Warchurch - A
Turntable Band. A truly special and unique funk injected show consisting of
keys, drums, guitar and bass with Greyboy and company on turtables to keep
things interesting. With influences like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, James
Brown, Model 500, Q-Bert and DJ Premier, the possibilities are endless of what
this group will bring to the tables.
In the City Room, Junction welcomes one of the most reputable producers and
deejays in LA's house music scene, Joshua Heath. Strongly entrenched and ever
growing with appearances on some of the world's biggest labels (OM, NRK,
Salted, Drop, DAE, Phonoshuffle, Aroma, Grab, Amenti) Joshua brings a world of
unique sounds to the City Room through his own production and remixes.
Joining him in in the City Room, still smokin from last week's set, is
Junction's own Derek Dunbar. Better believe he saved some heat for this week's
gig.
This is one you won't want to miss.
See you Friday!
