 Angeles, CA  - On Saturday April 10, 2010 Downtown Los Angeles 
hosts
the Teknowledge celebration of its 3 year anniversay with a 
massive
presentation of music and art entitled War of the Roses. This 
event will take
place at Lot 613 located at 613 Imperial Street, Los 
Angeles CA 90021 from
8pm until 3am and welcomes those 21 and up.
 
Tickets are available for $25 /
$30 on Groovetickets.com, AD 2013 in Venice and Grooveriders in Sherman Oaks.

This event is 
also the 2010 reunion of the Funky Tekno Tribe who have been a
driving 
force behind the pulsing San
 Francisco underground dance scene since
1992. Their events, such as ORGANIC, LE THEATRE DU FUTUR, and HALLOWEEN
TRIBAL MASSIVE have garnered high acclaim both nationally and 
internationally
as the most reputable dance events to attend in North 
America. War of the
Roses reunites DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Jeno, Barry 
Weaver and Hector Cardenas
of Funky Tekno Tribe for a night of no 
boundaries or time slots just free
flowing creative sounds.

War of
 the Roses takes place in two giant warehouses situated in the 
Arts
District of Downtown LA with a sound system provided by Funktion One 
sound.
The event boasts two indoor stages as well as one outdoor stage. 
The event
also offers a lavish art display presented by I AM U. A 20 
foot mural will be
created throughout the course of the night as artists
 Mear One, Michael
Pukac, Hans Halveron and John Park collaborate on the 
piece that will
ultimately be auctioned off with proceeds going towards 
those affected my the
Earthquake in Haiti.

This event will have 
over 20 DJ's and Musicians playing electronic, house,
dubstep, glitch, 
funk, and whatever their hearts desire amidst stages and and
an overall 
atmosphere that will be adorned with decor and art installations
created
 by collaborations between artists from LA's The Do Lab and Space
Island. 
Included in the mix are also live performances by aerial artists
Brittany Beta and Angel
 of Scarlet Harlot Project as well as live screen
printing, live art, and other surprises. A full bar and food will also 
be
available to attendees.

 Teknowledge ::

Teknowledge was born 
from the Los Angeles underground and cultured by the
interactive art
