.....a little about Tony Powell

Powerhouse local DJ, Tony Powell has burned up the Hollywood scene with his
fresh beats for nearly 10 years. With notable gigs at Marques Wyatt’s “DEEP”
and “The Beef,” Tony built a name for himself and Hollywood isn’t the only
town to know it.

Tony’s demand has reached other spots like, “San Francisco’s “The End Up,”
Seattle’s “Sauce Box” and “The Garage” in Las Vegas. He’s even served as a
music reporter for Billboard Magazine. With residencies at other clubs like
D.Y.M.K., Love & Happiness, Escandalo and Stereo, it’s hard to find a moment
when Tony isn’t busy. He’s still found time to help out worthy causes like
Universal AIDS Project Summer Fest and Los Angeles’ Gay Pride Parade, which
he has headlined over the past three years.

If he isn’t spinning at clubs, Tony’s doing guest DJ spots on Internet radio
stations and producing singles. You can catch him at his Thursday residency
at Dirty Dirty House Club in Silverlake.
