Originally a native of Los Angeles Big Bully now resides in Brooklyn New
York. Big Bully began Djing in 1995 and never looked back. Moving to various
cities since then, he now calls New York his home and has been hard at work
lending his vocals to some of the best underground techno and house
producers. He’s been singing on releases since 2005. A somewhat
jack-of-all-trades, Big Bully likes to work the crowd with his playful yet
incisive cuts, jacked up beats, and sultry vocals. His dj'ing has taken him
throughout the U.S., Mexico, Sweden, Italy, Germany and Japan. He is a
dj/musician/vocalist/producer and label head of his label Mineral Musica.
Bully's unique blend of streetwise flavor and techno sophistication
certainly adds an edge to the minimal techno scene. But don’t be fooled by
this tough guy's attitude, because no sooner will he woo you with his sweet,
sexy vocals and soulful productions. This renegade musician is always in
search of the new, the different, the transgressive.
His vocals can be best described as melodic minimal soul. He’s lent his
voice to premiere techno producers such as Adultnapper, Fuckpony, Mikael
Stravrostand, Samim, [a]pendics .shuffle, and Jay Haze. Big Bully’s
collaboration with Samim on the release “The Lick” even received a remix by
none other than house music’s biggest producer Derrick Carter. The Derrick
Carter Vocal Remix is stellar and offers Big Bully’s vocals to exist in that
special Derrick Carter Chicago sound that not too many get the opportunity
to do. His collaborations have been featured on massive underground labels
such as Get Physical, So Simple, Kindish, Culprit, Mo Ferry’s, Tunning
Spork, Blaq Records and Tic Tac Toe Records. Big Bully returns to Los

Founder of Droid Recordings and co-founder of Droid Behavior, Drumcell has
been one of techno's greatest allies in Southern California in recent times.

A graduate of the Musician's Institute and a long-time performer at parties
in Southern California, Drumcell has been influenced by music from his
earliest years. After being exposed to raves in the early 90s, He grew
addicted to the sounds of acid house, techno, in its many forms, and
industrial.

It was not long before he was copping turntables to satisfy his vinyl
fetish. By the early age of 14 he was playing in various local bands, and
through out the rest of his teenage years, cut his teeth-producing hip hop
records, dub and various forms of electronic music on Los Angeles based
underground labels. By combining his Production, DJing and networking skills
and focusing in on his more mature musical tastes he soon established
himself as one of the major players in LA's growing techno scene.

Associating with the members of Acid Circus to form Droid Behavior as an
event production group and record label was the next logical step to raise
awareness for techno in the city and to help expose local Artists,
established djs, and performers from around the country.

Over the last 5 years Drumcell has rocked parties from big to small on a
weekly basis in LA as well as gigs all over the U.S alongside such names as
Kenny Larkin, john Tejada, Tim Xavier, Dan Bell, Ben Sims, Adam Beyer, Jeff
Mills, Speedy J, Ritchie Hawtin, Mathew Dear, etc. and has also released
quite a few heavy trax on labels omniscient, remains, heavy Industries, and
his own DROID recordings imprint.

Drumcell has been known to keep on the edge of technology and continuously
pushing the limits to what the future has to offer.He is always in the
process of developing homebrew software as well as cutting edge hardware
solution to bring a fresh innovative taste to his production and
performances. When performing, Drumcell can be seen blurring the lines
between a live and a DJ set by utilizing tools such as FX processors ,
samplers ,drum machines and other devices to weave a thick blend of acidic
techno and aggressive but funky minimalist groove to ensure a frenzy amongst
his listeners .

With the state of electronic music in North America leaning towards stripped
down funk rather then progressive fluff these days, Droid has become the
center for LA techno and Drumcell remains steadfast in his mission of
putting this city on the global map.

We are excited to have Drumcell join LOVE FIX and celebrate our 1 Year
Anniversary. He has been spanning the globe spreading his love for techno in
the last few months, now we get to experience that LOVE in his own city of
Los Angeles.

- Xavier is the resident and architect of LOVE FIX. He’s has had a long
history with LA’s rave/underground culture since 1990, first being exposed
to it while buying vinyl at the multiple record stores that lined Melrose
Blvd at that time. Already established as a DJ in LA’s famed backyard
parties in West LA and East LA he crossed over into the rave scene in 1992.
Xavier immersed himself in LA’s rave culture not only as a partygoer but
emerged also as part of its second generation of DJs. By 1994 Xavier had
established himself as a recognized name in the scene and experienced the
end of a decade known to some as the “golden era” of LA’s rave/undergrounds
by playing alongside DJs that include Joey Beltram, Frankie Bones, DJ Dan,
Steve Loria, Ron D Core, Thee-o, Hyperactive, R.A.W., Jeno, Garth, Thomas,
Jon Williams, Juan Atkins, DJ Trance, Julius Papp, Westbam, Micro, LTJ
Bukem, Keoki, DJ Skull, Mike Dearborn, Lenny D, The Advent, Vapour Space,
Simply Jeff, and Daniel just to name a few.

As a promoter Xavier has produced some of L.A.'s early renowned raves such
as; Ravecycle ‘92, the Opium parties as half of the The People Who Love You,
from ’94-‘98, Weeble World, ‘96,'97. He's also produced smaller underground
events under the name Citrusoul ‘98-‘99 that included DJs; Onionz, DJ IZ,
Tony, Barry Weaver, Jaime Thiness, and John Howard.

Xavier has played for Nocturnal Wonderland, Opium, Audiotistic, Together As
One NYE, Juju Beats, Sacred Grounds, Tropical, and countless So Cal
undergrounds and has rocked other cities like San Francisco, San Diego, Salt
Lake City, Santa Barbara, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Vancouver (BC,CA), Tijuana
(MX), and Guadalajara (MX).

Taking a self imposed hiatus in 2004 to focus on University studies Xavier
earned his Bachelor’s in Chicana/o Studies in 2006 from CSUN. Graduate
school followed and in 2009 Xavier completed his Master’s and has
contributed to LA’s underground dance culture by writing his MA thesis on
LA’s rave scene during the 1990s from a Chicano perspective. His research is
herald as being the first to explore the Chicano experience from an
underground communal electronic dance space. Since then he has been invited
to be part of Public Works Collective in producing a documentary on L.A.s
rave history.

Xavier’s musical selection is always underground ranging from techno and
house genres, his selection of tracks and seamless mixing skills create an
energy and vibe that must be experienced firsthand!

*VIKTOR CARRILLO*
============ [Droid Behavior, Xeriscape Rec, Love Fix]

-A Los Angeles-based techno DJ and musician who has been immersed in the
local electronic music scene since the 1990s. He's been performing and
promoting his own events for more than a decade.

A member of the Droid Behavior techno crew, he has performed at many Droid
events including legendary sets at their ‘Black + Silver Open Air’ desert
event in 2008 and their recent ‘Interface 26.0' warehouse party.

Carrillo is a graduate of the Recording Engineering program at the
Musicians' Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, and his resume includes a
6-year stint as the manager of Higher Source Records, helping select music
for some of the top DJs in LA. Carrillo is also a Traktor DJ software
specialist for Berlin-based music software innovators Native Instruments.

VIktor joins the LOVE FIX crew not only as a DJ but as member of the
production team, his influence and positive energy will be felt and heard on
the dance floor!
