: : : : : : : : : : :ABOUT THE TALENT : :::::::::ABOUT AUDREY NAPOLEON::Audrey
Napoleon is spontaneous, eclectic, dynamic, eccentric, and aggressive. She is
exactly like the music she plays. Her personal style ranges from Tech-house,
Techno and Minimal. She can either be hard or soft. She is a DJ who takes the
dance floor by the balls and grips it there until the crowd begs for
submission. Audrey expresses her being through music, energy, passion, and
style. She acts to make people react, she reacts making everyone love her.
Audrey is not an artist, she's the art itself.Born to delight, Audrey Napoleon
begun performing at age 6 and never stopped. From sing-alongs to putting on
performances at local theaters and schools, her initial spark was evident.
Late nights, sitting by the radio, anxiously awaiting to record the perfect
songs to make mixes for her friends, it’s no wonder that she developed into
the multi-talented force that Audrey has become today.By 2005, Napoleon had
relocated to Los Angeles; working closely with her mentor, she began her DJ
residency at Ashton Kutcher’s Hollywood hot spot, Geisha House. Audrey now
holds a DJ residency at the iconic club, Avalon Hollywood, and she continues
to perform in countries around the world such as Italy, United Kingdom, France
and the United States. Audrey has shared the stage with industry giants such
as James Zabiela, Nic Fanciulli, Tiefschwarz, Joris Voorn, Annie Mac, John
Dahlback, Kissy Sell Out and the list goes on. She performed at two of the
Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics official parties and has played the best clubs
around the USA and internationally with tour dates including London, Paris,
Milan, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Ibiza, Naples, Manchester, New York City,
and Sicily.Audrey is one of Shejay’s Top 100 Female DJs and has appeared in
publications such as Remix Magazine, Los Angeles Times, 944 Magazine San
Francisco, DV8 Magazine UK, Bust Magazine New York, Trigger Happy Magazine,
and LA Weekly, along with numerous music blogs and online magazines. She has
also appeared on radio including Wish Industry Radio London, Radio FG Paris,
and BPM on XM Satellite Radio. Her debut single “Cannot Find” reached the
Beatport Top 100 downloads and she has an assortment of exciting tracks
prepped for release this upcoming fall which will be available for digital
download on ITunes, Beatport, and Amazon.::::::::ABOUT DARIUS
ALEKSANDAR::Darius Aleksandar was born into a family of musicians; seasoned
performers rich in talent and artistry. Raised in Los Angeles, California, he
was naturally fascinated with music throughout his youth and eager to express
his own creativity. With a simple record player and tape deck, he was mixing
by the age of 10 and naturally became a favored DJ for the school dances that
followed. His musical taste was diverse and embracing; Latin, Disco, Funk,
Soul, R&B, Rap, Miami Bass and Hip House. With influences like Soul Sonic
Force, Grandmaster Flash, African Bambata, Egyptian Lover, Jonzun Crew, DJ Red
Alert, Public Enemy, Eric B & Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Ultramagnetic MC’s,
Whoodini and Kraftwerk, Darius was cultivating a passion for electronic music
that would only intensify as his involvement in the scene progressed. In 2006,
Darius began advancing Minimal House to Los Angeles. He has launched a series
of events to showcase artists from around the world and to reveal a variety of
House music; Deeper Moods, Lunar NYE, Deeper Into LA bringing solid talent to
Los Angeles and nourished the scene with creativity and inspiration. With
artists such as No Regular Play, Cesare vs Disorder, Dapayk Solo, Bruno
Pronsato, Mathias Kaden, Alex Smoke, Abe Duque, Mikael Stravostrand, Maetrik,
Michel Ho, Dan Curtin and Butane, Nektr Events have displayed a brilliant
collection of music, serving up Deep, Minimal Tribal, Tech, House and Acid
House to the devotees and dancers of Los Angeles. Darius is currently in the
studio, continuing to shape and form unique sets with great imagination and
finesse. He will always keep you deep with rare, classic tracks and the best
flavor from today. ::::::::ABOUT NO THING::No Thing is a recent LA transplant
from San Francisco and the dubstep scene down here is only richer and more
diverse as a result. If you caught Babylon System flexing the muscle of 18
Funktion One bass cabinets at Burning Man's Bass Camp last Thursday, then you
know what this man is capable of. Total and absolute destruction of
dancefloors using unreleased cuts from the likes of Chasing Shadows,
Antiserum, Noah D, and many others. Babylon System was recently shouted out in
the UK-based newspaper The Sun as champions of the US dubstep scene abroad
(http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/music/3089382/Dubstep-making-le
aps-in-the-US.html). Some more info on Babylon System is below.Babylon System,
the California based dubstep outfit, consists of the killer combo of veteran
dj/producers: ROOMMATE and NO THING. Since 2006 the two have been setting the
world on fire with their aggressive, gangster and reggae infused dancefloor
sound. Their releases are all anxiously awaited and their dubs are spun by
every big dj in the scene. Tunes like “Examination of Time”, “Loaded”, “Get on
up”, and “Hyphy” were instant anthems, selling out from all world wide record
shops, with heavy support from giants like; N-type, Plastician, Bassnectar,
Noah D, Emalkay, and Skream. Live, they get the party rowdy with quick mixes,
diverse track selection, top shelf dubs, and their contagious positive energy.
Not only are their legendary sets leaving a huge impression on every major
North American city but they’ve turned heads all over Europe, and an
Australia/New Zealand tour is their next target. Expect more anthem releases
and smashed up dance floors. Watch out, their thick, gangster sound will knock
you out!!!::::::::ABOUT A. SERRANO::Andrew Serrano is back in the US after a 7
month stint in London during 2009 where he won a Ministry of Sound DJ contest
and held down a residency with the CYNT crew and played alongside such
heavyweights as Bloody Beetroots, Erol Alkan, Simian Mobile Disco, and Lee
Mortimer. He has been straight destroying dancefloors in LA and San Diego with
some of the most well-crafted and expertly mixed techno and tech-house sets we
have heard in a long, long time. This kid has serious talent and is someone to
keep your eye on, Los Angeles, Come get your fill before he jets off to Europe
for gigs in England and Germany.::::::::The Gold Line's resident DJs,
aDJnamedCK and Danny Miller, will be warming things up for you on Saturday.
They have a combined 20+ years of experience dropping techno to fidget to
house to minimal, spanning genres yet always staying classy, always keeping
the feet moving.New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, North
Carolina, Mendocino, Portland and Paris (France!) are just some of the spots
you might have seen them play out in the past decade.::::::::This is going to
be our best one yet. Don't miss out.
